National News: The Aam Aadmi Party launched its ‘Report the Theft’ campaign in Delhi, led by state convener Saurabh Bharadwaj and women’s wing chief Sarika Chaudhary. Women from different parts of the city gathered to file complaints. They reported that promises like ₹2500 monthly help, free gas cylinders, and medicines were never delivered. AAP leaders accused BJP of stealing people’s rights after winning elections with false promises.
Bharadwaj told women that BJP first won Delhi by distributing sarees, money, and gifts. Later, they promised ₹2500 monthly allowance and cheaper gas cylinders. But six months into power, no woman has received the money. Many said Prime Minister Modi had promised free cylinders during festivals, but nothing arrived. Medicines in clinics have also disappeared, making life harder for poor families.
At the AAP office, women openly wrote their complaints. They said their rights were stolen by the BJP government. Sarika Chaudhary explained that women trusted BJP’s promises, but now they feel cheated. Clinics that once gave free medicines have stopped, and cylinders remain costly. The anger has spread in every household as women struggle to meet daily needs.
Bharadwaj also mentioned that the campaign was supposed to run across Delhi the same day. But after the morning attack on Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, the party kept the program symbolic. He said they would soon take this movement to every street. He connected the anger of women with the political violence happening in the capital and said both must be resisted.
Sarika Chaudhary declared that women will not remain silent. She said the BJP government made promises of ₹2500 monthly, free cylinders, and medicines, but betrayed women in every way. Many women also alleged vote theft in elections. Names were cut, fake voters were added, and genuine votes were ignored. She said now women are preparing to step on the streets to fight for their rights against the “four-engine BJP government.”
Saurabh Bharadwaj repeated that BJP has stolen women’s money and rights. He argued that if Modi had really sent money or free cylinders, then it must have been stolen before reaching women. He called this a direct theft of public rights. He said AAP will continue to expose the betrayal done to women, whether in elections or in daily facilities.
The complaints and anger are now shaping into a movement. Women feel cheated of their money, medicines, and facilities. AAP has turned this anger into a campaign to remind the government of its failed promises. With slogans of “Report the Theft,” the party plans to take the fight to Delhi’s streets. The issue is no longer about politics but about the survival and rights of common women in the capital.
