Patna: The entry of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) into the Bihar Assembly elections has stirred the political scene of the state. Senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, who arrived in Patna on Thursday, strongly criticised the BJP-JDU government, saying the people of Bihar must now be cautious of “false promises and fake parties.”

What Did Sanjay Singh Say About BJP-JDU’s Governance?

Sanjay Singh accused the BJP-JDU alliance of deceiving the people of Bihar for the last twenty years. He said they made tall promises to the poor and the youth but failed to deliver on any of them. Singh added that even the holy festival of Chhath exposed BJP’s hypocrisy, as fake ghats were built along the Yamuna in Delhi, mocking the faith of people from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. “Those who stage dramas even during sacred festivals must now face the public’s questions,” he said.

Who Is Responsible for Bihar’s Problems?

The AAP leader targeted BJP leaders for calling Biharis “migrants,” pointing out that it is their government that has ruled the state for two decades. “If Bihar still struggles with unemployment and backwardness, then who is responsible?” he asked. Singh also accused the BJP of demolishing homes and shops of UP-Bihar residents in Delhi and then coming to Bihar to seek votes from the same people.

What Did Sanjay Singh Say About Youth and Employment?

Commenting on unemployment, Singh reminded that Prime Minister Modi had promised two crore jobs but instead, youths are now being told to “make reels.” He mocked, “While Bihar’s youth are busy making reels, Jay Shah is earning crores through cricket. This is an insult to India’s young generation.”

How Did He Criticise Nitish Kumar and BJP’s Politics?

Sanjay Singh also took a dig at Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, saying, “A leader who doesn’t recognize his own workers and places a pot on a woman organizer’s head on stage—how can he recognize the people of Bihar?” He added that the Delhi government has worked honestly for the last ten years, serving people from UP, Bihar, and Purvanchal. Now, AAP has come to Bihar with the same intention—to raise real issues, not make fake promises like BJP and JDU.

What Is AAP’s Vision for Bihar?

He emphasised that wherever AAP has reached, people have voted for honesty. In Gujarat, AAP MLAs have become the voice of the people, and now Bihar too is ready for change. Attacking Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, Singh said, “His bulldozer now runs over temples in Kashi, Ayodhya, and Mirzapur. BJP has turned into a factory of hatred that works against Muslims, Dalits, and the poor.” He concluded by saying, “The people of Bihar now want change. Aam Aadmi Party stands for honest politics and will fight for the people from the streets to Parliament.”
