National News: The chief of the Samajwadi Party, Akhilesh Yadav, has expressed his criticism over a school refusing class 7 girls' fee waiver in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. The waiver was guaranteed by the state's CM, Yogi Adityanath. Akhilesh took to X and said that it is the truth of BJP's fake slogans. Pankhuri Tripathi was refused a fee waiver when she and her father asked about the same to the school authorities, after which the authorities misbehaved with her father. After all the unfortunate happenings, the girl has appealed to the chief minister and has said that she completely trusts in him.

Akhilesh slams BJP

Akhilesh Yadav has aggressively criticized the ruling party. After Pankhuri's remarks, the chief of the Samajwadi Party said that the BJP should not lie to children. "We promise that her education won't stop. This is the truth of the BJP's fake slogans of 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao.' We urge the BJP not to lie to children," Yadav said in a post on X. In reply, Pankhrui's father, Rajiv Kumar Tripathi, has said that he believes in the CM and that he will ensure her daughter's education. He tweeted, "But we are associated with the Math and Maharaj ji (referring to Yogi Adityanath), and we believe he would ensure my daughter's education."

Pankhuri's statement

"I had gone to the chief minister with a fee waiver request. He gave me a chocolate and assured me that it would be done. But when I went to school with my father, they misbehaved with us. We were told that the fee couldn't be waived. They said that if more parents sought a fee waiver, the school wouldn't be able to function. They said they have to pay teachers," said Pankhuri to the media. She also said that her father broke down in tears when the authorities misbehaved.
