National News: On Saturday morning, an incident took place in Bengal's South 24 Parganas district that sent terror across the region. A brother-in-law killed his sister-in-law due to a family feud. But the matter did not end there - he cut off the head of his sister-in-law, raised it in his hand, and fearlessly walked around the area. The scene not only sent shivers down the spines of the locals but also shook the entire state.

Brother's wife becomes the target, brother-in-law's mental health in question

Bimal Mandal, a youth living in the Bharatgarh area, turned violent during an argument in his house on Saturday morning. His sister-in-law, Sati Mandal, was upset over something - it is being said that the dispute started over plucking mangoes. But this was just a spark, behind which the fire of years of animosity and suppressed anger was smoldering.

In a fit of rage, Bimal attacked Sati with a sharp weapon and slit her neck. But this is where the murder went from being a normal criminal incident to something more horrific.

Blood-soaked head on the road and shouting for 'justice'

After the murder, Bimal not only picked up the weapon from there but also took the severed head in his hand and openly came out on the road. Local people said that he kept waving the head in the air and was repeatedly shouting, "I have taken my revenge; now everyone will know that I am not weak."

Bimal also stood outside the temple for some time, as if he was demonstrating some bravery. This scene was so scary that passersby did not have the courage to stop him. People kept watching the spectacle from a distance and somehow informed the police.

He himself reached the police, no sign of remorse on his face

After some time, Bimal himself reached Bharatgarh police station. He had a blood-soaked weapon in his hand, and there was a strange peace on his face. He told the police, "Whatever I did, it was right. Now, whatever you have to do, do it." The policemen were also surprised to see his cold emotions.

During the initial investigation, the police suspected that the accused's mental condition was not normal. Now a team of psychiatrists is examining his mental condition.

Was old enmity the real reason? Mango was just an excuse

Although initially the case seemed like a minor quarrel, the investigating officers are now convinced that the incident did not happen just because of the mango tree. According to sources, the relationship between Sati and Bimal had been sour for a long time. Bimal was constantly feeling humiliated and marginalized due to some family decisions.

This case raises the question: When does anger turn into blood?

This horrific act of Bimal Mandal is not just a crime but a social warning. Ignoring mental health, family tensions, and social taunts can turn into someone's blood someday. If someone shows signs of mental imbalance or violent tendencies, timely intervention is necessary. One mistake can destroy many lives.
