National News: Bihar’s political landscape has erupted into fresh controversy after a shocking audio clip of RJD MLA Bhai Virendra went viral on social media. In the recording, the legislator from Maner is allegedly heard threatening Panchayat Secretary Sandeep Kumar, saying he would “beat him with shoes” and “throw him out of his job.” The viral clip has ignited outrage, giving the opposition an opportunity to intensify its attack on RJD.

Tej Pratap Yadav’s Stinging Question to RJD

Adding fuel to the fire, former minister Tej Pratap Yadav, who was recently expelled from RJD, launched a direct attack on the party leadership. In a sharp social media post, he asked, “The party moved instantly to expel me, but why is there complete silence on Bhai Virendra?”

This post was more than just criticism of Bhai Virendra—it also sent an unmistakable signal aimed at RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav and Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav, suggesting that selective action was being taken within the party.

Cartoon with a Satirical Punch

Tej Pratap went further by sharing a provocative cartoon, depicting Bhai Virendra holding a shoe while a Panchayat Secretary sat nervously in front of him. The illustration carried the pointed caption: “Will RJD act against its own MLA who insulted the SC-ST community and went against Baba Saheb Ambedkar’s ideals?”

In the same post, Tej Pratap alleged he was expelled because of a “Jaichand conspiracy,” adding a sarcastic twist: “Let’s see if the party shows the same strictness toward those actually creating trouble.”

Bhai Virendra—No Stranger to Controversy

Bhai Virendra is no stranger to controversy. He had earlier made headlines in the assembly with his defiant comment: “The House doesn’t belong to anyone’s father.” But this latest episode could prove more damaging. Panchayat Secretary Sandeep Kumar has filed an FIR at the SC/ST police station, accusing the MLA of using casteist slurs and mentally harassing him.

Reports suggest the incident began when Sandeep Kumar failed to recognize the MLA, prompting Bhai Virendra to cite “protocol.” The secretary pushed back, sparking the heated exchange now immortalized in the viral audio.

Pressure Mounts on RJD

The uproar has tarnished RJD’s image and exposed visible cracks within the party. Opposition parties are seizing the moment, calling it a fresh example of “jungle raj.” Though Bhai Virendra has since expressed regret on Facebook, blaming the secretary’s “attitude” for the outburst, his apology hasn’t stopped the backlash.

The big question now: Will RJD take disciplinary action against Bhai Virendra, or will it brush aside Tej Pratap Yadav’s demand—risking deeper political fallout?
