Bihar: As the Bihar elections 2025 are approaching, war of words between political temperatures between the political leaders are rising. In a fresh incident, Janshakti Janata Dal chief, Tej Pratap Yadav has landed himself in a controversy by taking a jibe at Bhojpuri actor-singer Khesari Lal Yadav.
Tej Pratap Commenting on the promises made by Khesari Lal during his campaign in Chhapra, Tej Pratap mocked the popular entertainer’s “2 crore jobs” claim, asking sharply, “What job will Khesari Lal provide? Nachne wala?”
Meanwhile, Tej Pratap when asked about the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) election manifesto, or “Sankalp Patra,” he said, “This is election season. Let’s see what happens.” He didn't respond openly but tried to change the topic.
Khesari Lal Yadav replying to the “nachaniya” jibe earlier, without taking Tej Pratap's name directly, he said a similar remark was made earlier by Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, who also called him as a “nachaniya.”
Meanwhile, talking to the media, Khesari Lal said, “For someone who hasn’t worked hard, no words hold meaning. But for someone who has struggled, every word has meaning. If someone calls me ‘nachaniya,’ it’s okay; he’s an elder brother. But insulting someone just to win an election isn’t right.”
However, he also requested the politicians to select their words responsibly.
ANI quoted Tej Pratap saying on NDA 'sankalp patra', "This is election season. Let's see what happens." On RJD's Khesari Lal Yadav's "2 crore jobs" claim, he says, "What job will Khesari Lal provide? Nachne wala?"
