Bihar: After the recent assembly elections in Bihar, the process of forming a new government is again gaining momentum with the victory of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). Sources say that after the complex alliance-splitting, now the final swearing-in ceremony is likely to be held by November 19-20.
According to sources, the possibility of current Chief Minister Nitish Kumar being made the Chief Minister again is considered almost certain. He has gathered support in this direction considering the number of seats and the conditions of the alliance.
There is intense discussion among the NDA partners regarding the division of the cabinet. It is being said that BJP can get the quota of 15-16 ministers, while JDU will give approximately the same number of ministers from its share. Apart from this, LJP, Hum-Secular, and RLMO are also going to get representation.
The ceremony is likely to be held on 19 or 20 November. It will be organized on a large scale, and Gandhi Maidan is in discussion for the stage.
Caste equation, regional balance, and distribution of ministerial posts are the major issues within the NDA. Intensive talks are going on between party leaders on these so that the government can work smoothly.
