PM Modi's Bihar visit today: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will start the campaign for Bihar Assembly elections today. He will try to capture the 37 percent vote bank of the extremely backward class in one go. In Mithilanchal, NDA's entire emphasis is on strengthening the vote bank of Panchapaniya, i.e., five major castes. The extremely backward class plays a decisive role in the politics of Bihar. Perhaps this is the reason why Modi will sound the election trumpet from Karpoori village, the village of former Chief Minister and Bharat Ratna Jannayak Karpoori Thakur.
There he will garland the statue of Karpoori Thakur. After this, national poet Ramdhari Singh will address the election meeting in the home district of Dinkar in Begusarai. NDA candidates from ten assembly constituencies each will be present on the stage in both the meetings. Before the Prime Minister's speech, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and other big leaders of the NDA will address the public.
Apart from Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Sinha, JDU National Working President Sanjay Jha, Vijay Chaudhary, LJP National President (Ram Vilas) and Union Minister Chirag Paswan, Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, and RLMO chief Upendra Kushwaha will appeal for the victory of NDA candidates in both the meetings. The first meeting will be held at 1 pm in Karpuri village, and the second at 2 pm at the airport ground in Begusarai.
NDA has a far-reaching goal in Mithilanchal. Wants to expand NDA by working out social and political equations with both the parties. Especially in the 2020 elections, half the seats in Samastipur and only three out of seven seats in Begusarai are with NDA. Now BJP and NDA together want to snatch the lost seats from the Grand Alliance. Leaders believe that Modi's meetings will have a deep impact on voters and will boost the morale of the workers.
Here, two meetings of Union Home Minister Amit Shah will also be held on Friday. First in Siwan and second in Buxar. BJP has fielded Health Minister Mangal Pandey from Siwan, while Anand Mishra is in the fray from Buxar. Both are contesting assembly elections for the first time; hence, the party's focus is especially on these seats.
