BJP Leaders Slam Rahul Gandhi over ‘anti-India remarks in Germany

New Delhi: After recent Rahul Gandhi's anti-India remarks in Germany, BJP has slammed the Congress leader. A number of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders have critilambasted at Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi Rahul for his statements during his recent Germany trip.

Lashing out at Rahul Gandhi, Union Minister of State and BJP leader Shobha Karandlaje lashed out at Rahul Gandhi, and called calling him "an anti-India leader" over the latter's criticism of the PM Narendra Modi-led government during his visit to Germany.

"Rahul Gandhi is not the Leader of Opposition but an anti-India leader who goes abroad and speaks against the nation. What does he aim to gain by doing this? He still behaves like a child, not a leader," Shobha Karandlaje said.

What BJP President N Ramchander Rao said?

Meanwhile, Telangana BJP President N Ramchander Rao today slammed Rahul Gandhi's remark. Criticising him, he told ANI, ''He criticised Gandhi's claim that China has surpassed India, saying it is another instance of the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha insulting India, both domestically and internationally. Rao accused Gandhi of repeatedly disparaging India and suggested the Congress party's actions have weakened constitutional institutions.''

"Rahul Gandhi, again on foreign soil, has tried to belittle India and defame the Indian system of politics. He still maintains that China has surpassed India. Rahul Gandhi has insulted India several times before, and this time, in Europe, he has almost insulted India and the Indian political system. The Congress party is responsible for weakening the constitutional institutions," said N Ramchander Rao.

On LoP Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi's recent statement, BJP National Spokesperson Syed Zafar Islam said, "When Rahul Gandhi makes such statements, people have no option but to laugh at him... All his allies are leaving him today...''

''You also got more (funding) when your party was in power... The unemployment rate is at its lowest today... Rahul Gandhi only says what is written down for him."
