National news: A major accident occurred at the Bageshwar Dham complex in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh. Due to strong winds, a tent collapsed, killing one devotee and injuring ten others. The devotees had gathered on Thursday morning to celebrate Dhirendra Shastri's birthday. According to media reports, the incident took place during the Aarti, when sudden heavy winds brought down the tent. Several people were trapped underneath, triggering panic and complete chaos.

According to media reports, poor construction of tents along with strong winds is the reason behind this tragedy. Shyam Lal Kaushal, a 50-year-old person, died on the spot. His hometown was Ayodhya, but he resided in the Basti district of Uttar Pradesh. The other family members, who lived nearby, had to reach Chhatarpur. The injured were rescued and taken to the hospital.
The Bageshwar Dham complex in the Garha Village, located in the Chhatarpur district of Bundelkhand, has been decorated beautifully to celebrate Peethadeeshwar Dhirendra Shastri's birthday, which is today, 4th July. The district will witness various religious programs starting from today until Guru Purnima. More than 50 thousand devotees are expected to gather for Guru Purnima and the birth anniversary.
