National News: A sense of panic gripped the national capital on Monday morning after three well-known schools received bomb threats via email. The alarming messages were sent to the Navy School in Chanakyapuri, the CRPF School in Dwarka, and one more unidentified school, prompting an immediate response from police and security agencies.

Threat Received Around 7:30 AM

According to sources, the schools received the threatening emails at approximately 7:30 AM. The Delhi Police were alerted about the threats around 8:30 AM through a PCR call. Following the alert, police teams swiftly reached the schools and launched a comprehensive search operation.

Bomb Disposal and Dog Squads Deployed

Personnel from Delhi Police, including the bomb disposal unit, dog squad, cybercrime experts, and special staff, were deployed at the affected school premises. After a detailed search, officials confirmed that no suspicious objects or materials were found. Security around the schools has been significantly heightened to safeguard students and staff.

Initial Alert from Dwarka CRPF School

The first PCR call was reportedly made from the CRPF School in Dwarka, which had received the initial threat via email. In response, a full-scale security sweep was conducted. While no explosives or suspicious items were detected, cyber experts are now working to trace the origin and sender of the email.

Similar Threats in the Past

This incident adds to a string of similar cases reported earlier this year. Institutions such as Shiv Nadar School in Noida, Alcon International School in Delhi, and St. Stephen’s College also received hoax bomb threats in recent months. Though all turned out to be false alarms, precautionary measures, including school evacuations, were carried out.

Police Urge Public to Stay Calm

Delhi Police have assured that all precautionary measures are in place and there is no immediate threat at present. However, they have reiterated that the investigation is ongoing. Authorities have urged the public not to fall for rumors and to promptly report any unusual or suspicious activities.
