Heavy Rain Alert in Delhi, Bihar and 10 States, Thunderstorm and Lightning Warning in UP

New Delhi: Strong winds are blowing in Delhi-NCR since last night. The weather has changed once again. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain warning in many parts of the country for Wednesday. It may rain in many states including Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, MP, UP, Bihar, Bengal and Rajasthan. There is also an alert of strong storm and lightning at some places.

How will the weather be in Delhi today?

Rainy weather will prevail in Delhi for the next 2-3 days. Today it will be cloudy the whole day and there will be light rain or drizzle at times. There will be some relief from the heat, the temperature will not increase much. According to the department, today the maximum temperature of Delhi can be around 34 degrees and the minimum can be around 24 degrees. There will be more moisture in the air in the morning, it will reduce slightly by afternoon.

Is there a warning of heavy rain in Punjab-Haryana?

It will rain at many places in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh today. Heavy rain may also occur in some areas. Along with this, there has also been a warning of strong winds and thunder. The Meteorological Department has asked people to avoid going out in the open during bad weather and not to stand under trees during lightning.

What is the Condition of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan?

The weather will change in the western districts of Madhya Pradesh. There may be rain with heavy thunder at some places. There will be no rain in the entire state, but where it occurs, the weather may deteriorate suddenly. There are chances of light to moderate rain with strong wind in the north-western districts of Rajasthan. Rain will continue in East Rajasthan also.

What is the update in UP-Bihar?

It may rain in many districts in both eastern and western parts of UP. There is a possibility of rain along with storm and lightning at some places in Bihar. There is also an alert of heavy rain in some districts. Rain in Bengal and hilly states too. There will be moderate to heavy rain at many places in West Bengal, Sikkim, Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh. Rainfall will continue in Kerala and Lakshadweep as well.

According to the Meteorological Department, there may be heavy rain at some places in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya. Apart from this, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain at isolated places in Bihar, UP, Odisha, Jharkhand, Gujarat, Goa, Maharashtra, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
