Earthquake of 3.7 magnitude Hits Leh, Ladakh

Earthquake Hits Leh, Ladakh: An earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale were felt in Leh, Ladakh. Its intensity was measured at 3.7 on the Richter scale. The depth of the earthquake was 10 kilometers. There is no news of any loss of life or property due to the earthquake.

According to the NCS, the tremor occurred at 08:24 a.m. IST at a depth of 10 km. The epicenter was located at latitude 35.10°N and longitude 75.19°E.

No immediate reports of damage or casualties are there as of now. As per the authorities the tremor was minor and people need not to panic.
