Starlink, a company of Elon Musk, one of the world's richest entrepreneurs, has received government approval to start satellite internet service in India. With this historical approval from the Ministry of Telecommunications, India has moved towards becoming an important center of the Global Sutcom network.

Became the third company that obtained the SATCOM license

Starlink has now become the third company in India to get a Satcom license. Earlier, this license has been issued to Reliance Jio and YouTelsat's OneWab. These three companies have been allowed to provide internet services through satellite in India.

Minister Scindia gave indications

Amazon's cuper is still in queue

Significantly, the satellite internet market in India is taking shape rapidly. After the approval of Allen Musk's company, everyone's eyes are now on Amazon's 'Kuper' project, which is waiting to get a similar license.

Digital India will get force

Internet connectivity will be strengthened in areas of India from the beginning of Starlink's services, where the reach of the network has been very limited so far. This step can give new pace to campaigns like Digital India and Internet for all.
