Rajasthan’s Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) has made a major breakthrough by confirming the arrest of notorious gangster Jagdeep Singh, also known as Jagga, in the United States. Jagga, a close aide of Lawrence Bishnoi, is also linked to the Rohit Godara gang, making his capture a significant success for the Rajasthan Police.

Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Member Jagdeep ‘Jagga’ Detained in America; Extradition Process Underway
In March 2017, he was involved in a firing and murder attempt on Dr. Sunil Chandak in Jodhpur’s Pratap Nagar area. Later, in September 2017, he was linked to the murder of Vasudev Israni in Sardarpura and was jailed along with Lawrence Bishnoi and Anmol Bishnoi.

According to reports, Jagga escaped from India using a passport and first fled to Dubai. From there, about three years ago, he entered the United States illegally.
What crimes is Jagga accused of?
Jagga faces more than ten serious criminal cases in Jodhpur and other parts of Rajasthan, including murder, attempted murder, and extortion. He was also involved in the 2017 Pratap Nagar firing case and the Jodhpur businessman Vasudev Israni murder case.
How did the police track him abroad?
Sources revealed that the AGTF had been monitoring Jagga’s activities overseas through advanced technical surveillance. The task force stayed in constant touch with international agencies to trace his movements and gather intelligence.
What happens next after his arrest?
Based on inputs from Indian authorities, the U.S. Homeland Security (ICE) detained Jagga. The process to extradite him to India has now started. Officials see this as a major success for Rajasthan Police, marking a strong blow against the Lawrence Bishnoi–Rohit Godara network operating from abroad.
