National News:  Heavy rains and floods in Haryana have completely destroyed farmers' crops. According to the latest data, more than 2 million acres of crops in the state have been submerged. Despite this, the state's BJP government appears insensitive to the farmers' plight. Thousands of farmers have lost their hard-earned money and are wandering from door to door seeking relief, while the government appears to be limited to mere rhetoric and paperwork.

Anurag Dhanda's strong reaction

Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and national media in-charge Anurag Dhanda reacted strongly to this issue on Wednesday. He said that the Haryana government's attitude amounts to betraying the farmers. Dhanda alleged that the compensation being provided to farmers is extremely low and inadequate. Furthermore, the online portal created by the government is also facing significant glitches and fraud, leaving thousands of farmers unable to withdraw their funds.

Anurag Dhanda stated that Chief Minister Nayab Singh and other ministers are reluctant to go to the ground to understand or communicate with farmers. He added that farmers in villages are facing economic hardship and devastation daily, but the BJP government refuses to leave its air-conditioned rooms and meeting rooms. Dhanda recalled the anti-farmer laws enacted earlier, stating that the government continues to follow the same approach.

Dhanda compared Punjab and Haryana

Dhanda compared the Punjab government, saying that farmers there have received the highest compensation in the country. In Punjab, farmers are receiving compensation of ₹20,000 per acre to honor their hard work and compensate for their losses. Meanwhile, the Haryana government hasn't even announced compensation of ₹10,000-₹12,000 per acre, which is disappointing for farmers.

Fight for farmers' rights

Anurag Dhanda made it clear that the Aam Aadmi Party will continue to fight for the rights of Haryana's farmers. He said that if the farmers of Punjab can receive respect and relief, then the farmers of Haryana are not weak either. We will stand firmly to ensure that the farmers of Haryana get their rights.

He said that today there is a clear difference in the situation of farmers in Punjab and Haryana. Farmers in Punjab are receiving relief and respect, while farmers in Haryana feel cheated and harassed.
