Haryana: Dense fog caused a major road accident in Haryana on Sunday morning. Due to poor visibility, several buses collided with each other one after the other on the highway, causing chaos at the spot. The accident occurred when it became difficult to see beyond a few meters on the road due to cold and fog in the morning.

Fog took away the vision of drivers

According to preliminary information, due to a cold wave and dense fog, drivers could not see the vehicles moving in front. Meanwhile, due to sudden braking, the buses coming from behind collided with each other. The accident was so severe that the front parts of some buses were badly damaged.

Panic among passengers

At the time of the accident, there was screaming among the passengers traveling in the buses. Many people jumped out of their seats and fell down, while some passengers got buried under the luggage. Local people and the Highway Patrol team immediately took the lead and pulled out the injured.

Relief and rescue operations

As soon as the information was received, police and an ambulance reached the spot. The injured were admitted to nearby hospitals. It is a matter of relief that no one has been confirmed dead, although some passengers have suffered injuries. The police gradually restored the traffic by removing the accident buses.
