This is the reason why security agencies are increasing their vigil on suspicious activities.

Why is there a possibility of infiltration through J&K?

According to intelligence agencies, ISI may first try to infiltrate terrorists into Jammu and Kashmir. Due to Independence Day, deployment of security forces has increased in Delhi and Jammu and Kashmir. Taking advantage of this busyness, a possibility of infiltration attempt from the other side of the border has been raised.

Is there a danger of infiltration from Bangladesh border also?

Concern has also been expressed in the input regarding the Bangladesh border. There is a fear that anti-India networks may try to get suspicious people into the country using other routes. For this reason, it has been asked to increase surveillance in the border areas and keep an eye on suspicious activities.

Why can Tier-2 cities be the target?

Security agencies also fear that the terrorists will not focus only on Delhi or big metros. Efforts may also be made to target Tier-2 cities. Since the security arrangements in these cities are comparatively less compared to big metros, terrorist organisations may consider them easy targets.
