Trump Projected Himself as a Peace Envoy; India Flatly Rejected the Claim

National News:India has denied the offering of arbitration on the Kashmir issue between India and Pakistan on behalf of former US President Donald Trump. India's stance is clear - Kashmir is an integral part of India, and if any issue is pending then it is the return of Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (PoK).

Trump's unilateral arbitration offer

On Saturday, Trump posted a long message on his social media platform 'Truth Social' claimed that America has played a role in the recent ceasefire between India and Pakistan. He said that if the two countries had not shown prudence in time, then millions of innocents could have lost their lives. Describing himself as a messenger of peace, he said that he would also like to help in resolving the Kashmir issue in future.

India bluntly reply: No arbitration

A top official of the Government of India, dismissing Trump's claim, said, "India's policy on Kashmir is completely clear. The issue is between India and Pakistan, and there is no need for any third country. The only subject left for it is POK's return."

India also clarified that there has been no talks on this issue with America or any other country, nor will any mediation be accepted. "If Pakistan is to return to the occupied Kashmir, he should talk directly to India," the official said.

Post -Operation Sindoor Status

According to sources, after 'Operation Sindoor', some US officials had approached India, but this dialogue was only on the regional situation. There was no discussion on the Kashmir issue. India had already informed the US that if Pakistan stops firing, India will also maintain peace. But if Pakistan continues the struggle, India will not back down to respond.

India's clear attitude: PoK is the real issue

India has repeatedly reiterated that Jammu and Kashmir is completely part of India according to its constitution. In contrast, Pakistan's occupation of PoK is illegal. According to the government, "No old game will run now. Pakistan will have to return PoK."
