He said that terrorism continues across the border from Pakistan, which is a hindrance in the effective implementation of the Indus Water Treaty. He said that Pakistan should stop blaming India as the real violation is taking place from Pakistan.

The minister said that there have been basic changes in the circumstances since the formation of the treaty, including technological progress, population growth, climate change and serious threats like cross -border terrorism. In such a situation, revaluation of the obligations of the treaty has become mandatory. He also emphasized that the treaty should be honored with goodwill and friendship.

Pakistan's misuse and condemnation of India

The government wants to ensure that the truth of the Indus Water Treaty and the issue of cross -border terrorism reached the world community. India's effort is associated with its growing military and economic strength, which promotes regional stability and cooperation.
