IPS officer Y Puran Kumar Death Case: Fresh Twist as Another Haryana Cop Dies by Suicide, Leaves Explosive Note

IPS officer Y Puran Kumar Death Case: In another shocking turn in the death case of senior IPS officer Y Puran Kumar, a Haryana cop posted with the Cyber Cell in Rohtak allegedly died by suicide on Tuesday. He also left behind a three-page note and a video message in which he labled the late IPS officer of corruption.

It is to be mentioned here that the body of Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Sandeep Kumar was found near a tubewell on the Rohtak–Panipat road. Following the incident, police recovered a suicide note and are currently examining a video message the officer recorded before taking his life.

ASI made some serious allegations

In his note, the ASI made some serious allegations against IPS officer Y Puran Kumar, who died by suicide on October 7 in Chandigarh. His suicide he wrote, “Y Puran Kumar was a corrupt officer. There is a lot of evidence against him.” 

His note further read, “I am sacrificing my life to demand an impartial probe. This corrupt family should not be spared.” He further wrote, “hijacked the system by using caste politics.”
