15-Foot King Cobra Causes Panic in Odisha School Classroom

Odisha News: A very dangerous and gigantic king cobra snake was caught in SSD Higher Secondary School located in Rayagada block of Gajapati district of Odisha on Wednesday evening. The length of this snake is said to be about 15 feet. This rescue operation was carried out by the Snake Helpline team of Chikiti in Ganjam district. It is being told that this king cobra was roaming in the school premises for the last few days, but no one was able to catch it.

When this snake suddenly entered the sixth class classroom, the school staff showed prudence and immediately closed the door so that the snake could not come out. The school administration immediately informed the snake helpline. After this, the snake remained locked in the same room for about three hours.

Cobra was rescued 

As soon as the information was received, two snake experts named Ramchandra Sahu and Jagannath Sahu from Ganjam district reached the spot. Both of them worked hard and carefully and after about half an hour of hard work, caught this huge snake.
When this news spread around, a huge crowd gathered in the school. People got excited to see the 15 feet long snake. The snake was hissing loudly and was almost standing on its tail, seeing which people got terrified.

Safely Released Back to Wild, Fear Finally Eases

The members of the snake helpline caught this poisonous snake safely and then left it in a secluded area of ​​the forest, so that it could return to its natural environment. After this entire incident, the local people are breathing a sigh of relief, and the school administration has also praised the snake helpline.
