Love, Betrayal, Deadly Fall: Pune Man Allegedly Pushed Off Cliff By Fiancée And Her Lover

Mumbai: After Raja Raghuvanshi murder case, Ketan Agarwal, a 25-year-old belonging to a prominent real-estate family, was found lifeless in a gorge just months before his wedding. The case which initially appeared to be a tragic trekking accident at a historic hill fort in Maharashtra has now turned into a suspected murder conspiracy.

What is the whole matter?

During the police investigation, it was found that the young man's fiancee conspired with her alleged lover to murder Ketan and then tried to make it look like an accident. The police have taken both the accused into custody and started investigation.

According to the police, Ketan Aggarwal died while trekking at the historic Lohagarh Fort near Pune. Initial information said that while trekking, his foot slipped and he fell into a ditch about 400 feet deep. After the incident, it was considered a tragic accident, but evidence found during the investigation changed the story. The police found some facts that raised suspicion that it might not be an accident but a planned murder.

Did Ketan celebrate her birthday?

Ketan, who had given his fiance Siya a wonderful surprise before her birthday, killed her for another man. In the video, their love story seems nothing less than a fairy tale. When Ketan, sitting in the car, blindfolds Siya and gives her a beautiful flower, no one could have guessed from her facial expressions that a horrific murder plot was running through Siya's mind at that moment. 
Siya's Instagram posts, a month before the murder, showed a deep, loving relationship between the two. Online, they were posing as the perfect couple.

To make Siya's pre-birthday celebration memorable, Ketan took her to a cafe, where he proposed to her with a cake amidst live music. Siya looked as happy as any other girl would be upon receiving a beautiful surprise from her fiance. They even danced together. What happened next was horrifying. 

Where did the incident happen?

Ketan, who is the son of a prominent Maharashtra construction businessman, Vishal Agarwal from Pimpri-Chinchwad near Pune, went trekking at Lohagad Fort with his fiance, Siya Goyal, to celebrate her birthday.

Siya not only invited Ketan to Lohgarh Fort as a pre-birthday surprise, but also invited her alleged boyfriend, Chetan. To avoid suspicion, Chetan Chaudhary left his mobile phone at his home in Kondhwa. He also changed his clothes to avoid being identified. Police have obtained CCTV footage of Chetan wearing a hoodie and heading to Lohgarh in the bright sun. 

While Ketan was taking photos with his mobile phone at Lohagarh Fort, Siya pushed him into the gorge. Siya then called the police and reported that Ketan had slipped and fallen. The police and family immediately arrived at the scene.

What did the police say?

According to SSP Sandeep Singh Gill, "In the investigation, we found that Chetan was also present at the crime location and both the accused have admitted to having conspired to kill Ketan Agarwal".

Ketan and Siya's marriage was scheduled for November in Udaipur.
