Kolkata: A big development came to light in the politics of West Bengal. Senior leader and former minister Manas Bhuyan resigned from the primary membership of Trinamool Congress. He has sent his resignation to party chief Mamata Banerjee. This decision of Bhuiyan is being considered a big blow for TMC because, in recent times the party has been facing many political challenges.

Manas Bhuiyan has been a big name in West Bengal politics. After being active in Congress for a long time, he joined TMC in 2016.
