New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the 132nd episode of his monthly radio programme 'Mann Ki Baat' today March 29. During the monthly radio programme, PM Modi focused on the increasing instability worldwide and also urged for unity among Indian citizens as tensions escalate in West Asia due to ongoing conflict.
Addressing during his radio broadcast Mann Ki Baat, PM Modi highlighted about the situation emerging due to West Asia war will be dealt jointly by 140 crore people of country. Talking about the West Asia war PM Modi called it a challenging time. PM Modi also appealed to all fellow citizens to stay vigilant and not fall prey to rumours related to West Asia war.
PM Modi also extended his gratitude to the Gulf countries for their support. He said, ''I am deeply grateful to Gulf countries for providing every possible assistance to 1 crore Indians living, working there.''
PM Modi said a "fierce war" has been raging in "our neighbourhood" for over a month.
Earlier in the day PM Modi shared a post on X and wrote, ''In the Mann Ki Baat programme of April 2022, I spoke about the significance of the Madhavpur Mela and its importance in our culture. Do listen…''
PM Modi also shared important details related to the energy crisis in the nation due to the ongoing the global conflict. "The region where the war is underway is a major hub of our energy needs, due to which a petrol and diesel crisis is developing worldwide. India is facing these challenges resolutely because of its global relations, assistance from different countries and the capabilities it has built over the past decade," said PM Modi.
