Madhya Pradesh: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has chosen the way for the marriage of his younger son, Abhimanyu Yadav, which is being discussed in the entire state. He has decided that his son's marriage will not take place in any grand event or luxurious Mangalsutra program but in a mass wedding ceremony. The ceremony will be organized on November 30 on the banks of the Shipra River in Ujjain. This unique decision has increased curiosity among common people also.
The Chief Minister's son will not get married alone. In this program, a total of 22 couples will take seven rounds together. Linking his son's marriage with social concerns, the Chief Minister said that marriage is not just a ritual but a festival that unites the society. They want to stay away from ostentation and unnecessary expenses and give the message that simplicity can also be an important part of marriage.
Groom Abhimanyu Yadav and bride Ishita Yadav Patel are both doctors and understand the responsibilities associated with the profession. From the wedding cards to the entire event, an effort has been made to keep simplicity in everything. There was no grandeur shown on the card either. The family has made it clear that no gifts are expected from anyone at this wedding—only blessings are enough.
This is not the first time that Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has given the message of simplicity in his family's wedding. Before this, the marriage of his elder son, Vaibhav Yadav, was also done in a simple and limited ceremony. Even then, the family had tried to distance itself from any grandeur and convey that the purpose of marriage is to respect relationships, not show off.
Today, marriage ceremonies are often turning into competitions, expenses, and unnecessary ostentation. This step of the Chief Minister gives a positive message in such an environment. This can be an inspiration for families who are forced to spend more on weddings due to economic reasons or social pressure. Mass marriage not only reduces expenses but also strengthens the feeling of equality and simplicity in the society.
Through this event, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has shown that despite holding a big position, simplicity and social responsibility can be given importance.
