Patna: In a major development in Bihar government formation, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has submitted his resignation to Governor Arif Mohammad Khan on Monday. Nitish Kumar has cleared the path for the formation of a new NDA government after the historic victory in the recently concluded Bihar Assembly elections 2025.
In the video, Nitish Kumar can be seen arriving at his residence after submitting the letter of recommendation regarding the dissolution of the current government to Governor Arif Mohammad Khan.

What was decided in today's cabinet meeting with Nitish Kumar?
After the Bihar Cabinet meeting, JD(U) leader Vijay Chaudhary said, “In today’s Cabinet meeting, it was decided that the current government will be dissolved by November 19, and the Chief Minister has given the recommendation letter to the Governor. The NDA has registered a historic majority under the leadership of CM Nitish Kumar, and everyone has congratulated him for this. So far, only these steps have been taken.”
After Bihar’s Cabinet meeting, state minister and BJP leader Prem Kumar said, “The oath-taking ceremony of the newly formed government will take place on 20th November at Gandhi Maidan. The current government will be dissolved on the 19th. PM Modi and lakhs of people will attend the historic oath-taking ceremony.”
