National News: Following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, India launched a decisive military operation named Operation Sindoor. This swift and strategic response compelled Pakistan to retreat on both military and diplomatic fronts. According to Air Marshal Narmdeshwar Tiwari, Deputy Chief of the Indian Air Force, fewer than 50 weapons were used in the mission—yet the impact was powerful enough to force Pakistan into agreeing to a ceasefire.
Air Marshal Tiwari described Operation Sindoor as a strong example of achieving maximum impact with minimal resources.
“We had detailed discussions on the cost-effectiveness and potential of air power before the mission. What we accomplished during Operation Sindoor stands as a textbook case—fewer than 50 weapons were enough to bring the adversary to the negotiation table. This operation will be studied closely as a model for future warfare,” he said.
Although specific details of every weapon used during the operation have not been publicly disclosed, the Indian Air Force deployed advanced fighter jets and precision-guided missile systems to carry out targeted strikes.

These precision weapons struck key Pakistani infrastructure, including airbases, radar installations, command and control centers, and areas near sensitive nuclear facilities.
India’s Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Anil Chauhan, confirmed that Operation Sindoor is still active. He emphasized the importance of maintaining round-the-clock combat readiness, stating that India’s military forces must continue to operate at the highest possible state of preparedness throughout the year.
General Chauhan also remarked that the nature of future conflicts is evolving rapidly. Modern soldiers must be more than just traditional fighters—they must develop as information warriors, technology warriors, and scholar warriors, equipped to handle multidimensional threats.
Operation Sindoor stands not only as a successful military maneuver but also as a strategic template for future operations. It illustrates how careful planning, advanced technology, and smart resource management can lead to major geopolitical outcomes.
This operation sent a strong message—both to Pakistan and to the global community—that India is now prepared to respond to any form of aggression with precision, restraint, and overwhelming effectiveness, even with limited resources.
