Operation Sindoor: India finally did what the whole country was waiting for After the brutal killing of 26 innocent civilians in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian armed launched a massive countermove on the terrorists who are hiding in Pakistan and POK (Pakistan-occupied Kashmir). This operation was named – Operation Sindoor. This operation, which took place under the direct supervision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, lasted only 23 minutes but its effect was such that it sent shivers down the spine of the terrorists. The Indian Army, Navy and Air Force together carried out this precise attack and destroyed many terrorist hideouts.
The main objective of this attack was to destroy the bases of top terrorists of Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba who spread terror in India. The places where Indian forces attacked with great precision include:
The special thing about 'Operation Sindoor' was that Prime Minister Modi himself was monitoring it from the war room in Delhi. There was tremendous coordination between the three forces and this action was taken on the basis of accurate intelligence. During this, every effort was made to target only the terrorists, not any civilian or Pakistani army post.
The Defense Ministry clarified in its statement that this operation was completely "focused, balanced and non-provocative." India ensured that no Pakistani military base was attacked so that the matter does not escalate. Its purpose was only to eliminate the terrorists.
Just a few hours after the operation, Pakistan, as is its habit, opened fire along the LoC. Violating the ceasefire in the Bhimbar Gali sector of the Poonch-Rajouri area, Pakistan initiated firing. The Indian Army took precise and strong action in response to Pakistan's ceasefire violation in the Poonch-Rajouri area. In a statement, the Indian Army said, "Pakistan has once again resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violations. The Indian Army is retaliating with full force."
Operation Sindoor once again proved that now India will not just condemn but will take direct action if needed. This was a tough decision against terrorism, which sent a message to the world that India will no longer tolerate it. By killing terrorists on their own land, the Indian Army has made the country proud. Now it is not just about security, but about giving a befitting reply — and India has learned to give this reply.
