PM-Kisan 23rd Installment Date: Farmers To Receive Rs 2,000 in Bank Accounts On June 20

New Delhi: There's good news for millions of farmers awaiting the 23rd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme. The central government has announced the installment release date, stating that an amount of Rs 2,000 will be transferred to the bank accounts of eligible farmers on June 20.

Who shared the information?

This information was shared on the official social media account of the PM Kisan Yojana. However, the location in the country from which Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release this amount into farmers' accounts has not yet been disclosed.

When will the 23rd installment be released?

Sharing information on the official social media platform of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, X, it has been stated that the 23rd installment of the scheme will be released on June 20. Under this, Rs 2,000 will be directly transferred to the accounts of eligible farmers. Previously, there was talk among farmers that the installment might arrive by the end of June, but now the date has been clarified.

Who will not get the benefit?

The government has already clarified that without a Farmer ID, benefits under any government scheme, including PM Kisan, will not be available. However, the deadline for obtaining a Farmer ID is currently June 30.

In such a situation, it's possible that farmers who haven't yet created a Farmer ID may receive relief this time. However, PM Kisan beneficiaries who haven't completed e-KYC may face delays in receiving their next installment.

How to check name in the PM Kisan list?

If you want to check your name on the PM Kisan Yojana list, you can do so easily by visiting pmkisan.gov.in. First, go to the portal and click on the Beneficiary List option.

After this, select the state, district, sub-district, block, and village name. A list of all the PM Kisan beneficiaries in that village will open. You can easily check your name here.

What is PM Kisan Yojana?

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was launched on February 24, 2019. Under this scheme, eligible farmers are provided with financial assistance of Rs 6,000 annually. This amount is transferred to farmers' bank accounts in three equal installments of Rs 2,000. So far, 22 installments have been released, and the 23rd installment is approaching.
