PM Modi won't attend Russia's Victory Day parade, India to be represented at different level

This is the 80th anniversary of Russia having defeated Germany in World War II. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that while Modi will not be attending, India would be represented by a diplomatic representative. Dmitry Peskov did not mention which Indian officer would attend in place of Prime Minister Modi or at what level.PM Modi was invited by Russia under this program.

Victory Day parade is annually celebrated on May 9 in Moscow. It is conducted on Red Square. Russia showcases its military might under this program. This parade is conducted as a remembrance of Russia's crushing victory against Nazi Germany during World War II.

Tension between Pakistan and India
