New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that in the 11 years of his government, India has not only become the fastest growing major economy but also a leading global voice on important issues such as climate action and digital innovation. On Monday, as his government completed the first year of its third term, Modi said the last 11 years have seen a clear focus on good governance and transformation. In his post on 'X', Modi said with the blessings and collective participation of 140 crore Indians, India has witnessed rapid transformation in various sectors.Modi reflected on a journey defined by bold reforms and inclusive development. From rural electrification to digital empowerment, his leadership has reshaped India’s landscape, earning both acclaim and scrutiny while setting a vision for a self-reliant nation.

Empowering the Marginalized

The Modi government’s flagship schemes, such as Jan Dhan Yojana and PM Awas Yojana, have prioritized financial inclusion and housing for the underprivileged. Over 50 crore bank accounts opened under Jan Dhan have brought millions into the formal economy, while Ujjwala Yojana has provided clean cooking fuel to over 10 crore women, enhancing their health and dignity. Modi emphasized women-led development, citing initiatives like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao as catalysts for social change, empowering girls and transforming societal mindsets.
