Punjab Police Nabs Pakistani Spy: YouTuber Jasbir Singh Arrested for Espionage

National News: Punjab Police has taken swift action by arresting another Pakistani spy, marking their second significant operation in the past 24 hours. This person is a YouTuber who was carrying out espionage activities through social media. Jasbir Singh, a resident of Mahalan village in Rupnagar, was arrested in Mohali by the State Special Operations Cell (SSOC). Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav, while making public the information about this arrest, said that Jasbir Singh used to run a YouTube channel called 'Jaan Mahal.'

Jasbir's connection has come out with Pakistani spy PIO Shakir, alias Jatt Randhawa. Initial investigation has revealed that he is part of a terror-supported espionage network, and he maintained contact with YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra and Pak High Commission official Ehsan-ur-Rahim, alias Danish, who were arrested from Haryana.

Deep connection with Jyoti Malhotra

According to police sources, Jasbir Singh's name came up during the interrogation of YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra, who was arrested from Hisar in Haryana. The investigation proved that there were several contacts and conversations between the two. The special thing is that Jasbir found a way to contact Danish, the expelled officer of the Pakistani High Commission, through Jyoti.

The police have recovered several suspicious photos and videos from the accused's mobile phone, which also include numbers of people from the Pakistani intelligence agency. Jasbir had saved these numbers in his phone under different names, which is believed to be a part of his secret communication system.

Appearance in court and further investigation

Jasbir Singh will be produced in the Mohali District Court, where the police will interrogate him after obtaining his remand. Officials suspect that more people may be involved in this network, so the investigation is going on at a large scale. Punjab Police has also informed the intelligence department about this case, who had shared secret information related to the accused. Only after this this big action was possible.
