On Thursday, Gujarat Congress President Amit Chavda announced that Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, will visit Gujarat on July 26.

Arrival and Training Camp Details

According to Chavda, Rahul Gandhi will arrive at Vadodara Airport in the morning and head to Anand, where he will attend a party training program. The training camp is being held as part of the 2025 Organisational Year, which the Congress party is celebrating with various events. This camp in Anand is scheduled for one day and is part of a larger three-day training event organised by the All India Congress Committee.

Rahul Gandhi will arrive in Vadodara on the morning of July 26 and then go to Anand to join the Congress training camp. The party has declared 2025 as the year to strengthen the organisation. This visit is part of that initiative,” Amit Chavda said while speaking to ANI.

Previous Events and Efforts in Gujarat

In April this year, the Congress party held a two-day national convention in Ahmedabad, the first such event in the city in 60 years. As part of organisational reforms, Rahul Gandhi also launched the ‘Sangathan Sirjan Abhiyan’ in Modasa in Gujarat’s Aravalli district. The campaign aims to restructure the party by empowering District Congress Committees and introducing a new system of accountability.

Rahul Gandhi’s Message to Party Workers

During an earlier meeting on March 9, Rahul Gandhi told party workers in Gujarat that it is important to remove certain members who are secretly supporting the BJP.

To earn people’s trust, we need to take strong steps. We have to identify and remove those who are working against the party’s interest—even if that means removing 10, 20, or even 30 people,” Gandhi said while addressing the Congress workers.
