Delhi Blast: CCTV Shows Metro Station Shaking as Shockwave Rips Through 40 Feet Underground

New Delhi: A massive explosion near the Red Fort shook the capital. The CCTV footage that has now surfaced is living proof of its intensity. 10 deaths, more than 20 injured. These were the figures, but the video shows that the explosion was so dangerous that the earth shook to a depth of 40 feet. If the road was badly damaged, the Delhi Metro track passing directly below could also be affected. The footage inside the Red Fort metro station is shocking. The footage shows that normal movement was going on inside the Red Fort metro station. People were moving here and there on the platform, and the food counter was crowded. Then there is an explosion, and the entire station trembles. It is seen in the video clip that the goods kept at the food shop fell. People started running away in fear, as if an earthquake had occurred. The sound of the explosion was heard 6 km away, but the vibration inside the metro shook everyone. If the crater on the road had been deep, the metro track would have been in danger. DMRC has started a structural integrity check.

The explosion took place right near Metro Gate No. 1, where the Violet Line passes below. If the IED had exploded with full force, the road would have caved in. Train service would have stopped. Tremors were felt up to 40 feet deep, but the structure remained safe. It is clear from the footage that there was panic among the passengers and many fell down. DMRC kept the station closed for 48 hours. Engineers did the inspection. Was this terrorist plot targeting the metro?
