New Delhi: This time the view of the Republic Day Parade looked grander and different than before. The full dress rehearsal held on Saturday witnessed a spectacular display of the army's strength, discipline and technology on the line of duty. While there was a glimpse of modern weapons in the parade, the soldiers marching with the camels and eagles of Ladakh especially attracted the attention of the people.

Was anything new seen in the parade this time?

This year many such scenes have been included in the parade that have never been seen before. The most special was the squad of two-humped Bactrian camels brought from Ladakh. These camels are part of the animal contingent of the Indian Army and perform important responsibilities, from delivering supplies to patrolling in snowy areas. His confident march on the path of duty was a new experience for the people.

Why did the camels of Ladakh become the center of attraction?

These camels are known for working in extremely difficult conditions. They can walk without getting tired even in temperatures up to minus 40 degrees Celsius. Army officials say that in the border areas, where vehicles cannot reach, these camels become the support of the soldiers. Their presence at the parade reflected both India's geographical diversity and military preparedness.

How did modern weapons increase the effect of the parade?

A glimpse of missiles like BrahMos and Akash was also seen in the rehearsal. Along with these, modern tanks and other military vehicles were also included. Seeing these weapons, it was clearly felt that India is not only strong in tradition, but is also progressing rapidly in defense technology.

Why did the soldiers marching with the eagle become a topic of discussion?

For the first time the soldiers were seen marching with trained eagles on their hands. This scene was completely new to the audience. Apart from this, a contingent of Dog Squad also became a part of the parade, which reflected the alertness and modern training of the army.

How did the motorcycle stunt take people's breath away?

Soldiers riding motorcycles showed amazing stunts in the parade. The balanced movement of many soldiers on the same bike and the precise control at high speed left people on edge. The special thing was that the women soldiers also practiced these tricks with full confidence, seeing which the audience applauded loudly.
