Big Day for Job Seekers: PM Narendra Modi to Distribute 51,000 Government Job Letters

PM Narendra Modi is going to give a big gift to the youth across the country on Saturday. Under the 19th Employment Fair, Modi will hand over appointment letters to more than 51 thousand youth.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to give a big gift to the youth across the country on Saturday. Appointment letters will be handed over to more than 51 thousand youth selected in various ministries and departments of the central government. These appointment letters will be distributed in the 19th employment fair to be organized through video conferencing.

The government says that this campaign is being run continuously with the aim of accelerating employment generation and giving opportunities to the youth in government services. Employment fair will be organized in 47 cities across the country, where the selected candidates will be formally given appointment letters.

Have lakhs of youth got jobs till now?

According to the central government, so far about 12 lakh appointment letters have been distributed in 18 phases under the Employment Fair Campaign. The government claims that through this initiative the recruitment process has been expedited and youth are being given government jobs in a transparent manner. Prime Minister Modi has also been continuously communicating with the youth through employment fairs. In the program to be held on Saturday, the Prime Minister will also address the appointed youth and wish them all the best for their new responsibilities.

In which departments will appointments be given?

Under this employment fair, maximum appointments will be made in many central institutions including Railways, Home Ministry, Health and Family Welfare Ministry, Financial Services Department and Higher Education Department. Selected candidates will get posting in different offices and institutions across the country. Officials say that the recruitment process has been done entirely on the basis of merit and fixed rules.

Did PM Modi give a special message for the youth?

Prime Minister Modi said in a social media post before the program that empowerment of the youth and their bright future are among the top priorities of the government. He said that he is happy that once again a large number of youth will get the opportunity to join government services. PM Modi said that the youth of the country are playing an important role in nation building and the government is continuously creating new opportunities for them.

Will a big event be organized in Patna also?

A job fair is also being organized in Patna, the capital of Bihar. The program will be held at Danapur Railway Complex, where appointment letters will be given to selected youth in Railways and other departments. According to officials, special preparations have also been made at the local level so that the appointment process can be completed smoothly.

Is employment fair being considered as a big strategy of the government?

At the political and administrative level, the employment fair is being considered a big initiative of the central government. The opposition has been continuously cornering the government on the issue of unemployment, in such a situation the central government is trying to convey the message through these fairs that the recruitment process in government departments is going on continuously. There is a possibility of organizing more such job fairs in the coming months also.
