SDM Inspects Mini-Secretariat, Municipal Office, and Shaheed Udham Singh Chowk; Reviews Sanitation Efforts

Ratia (Haryana): SDM Surendra Singh inspected the Mini-Secretariat, the Ratia Municipal Office, and Shaheed Udham Singh Chowk on Wednesday. During the visit, he reviewed the ongoing sanitation work in the offices and the city, public amenities, and the arrangements at the intersection.

The SDM directed municipal officials to maintain high standards of cleanliness across the city and ensure regular cleaning of public spaces. He emphasized that maintaining the city's cleanliness and aesthetic appeal is a primary responsibility of the municipality. He instructed officials to ensure there is no negligence in sanitation services and that basic amenities are seamlessly provided to citizens. He also inquired about the cleanliness, beautification, and surrounding arrangements at Shaheed Udham Singh Chowk, directing the concerned officials to maintain hygiene in the area and rectify any necessary arrangements.

Subsequently, SDM Surendra Singh attended a program organized jointly by the Lions Club Ratia City and the Senior Citizens Welfare Trust, Ratia, for the distribution of free assistive devices to senior citizens. While distributing the devices to needy elderly individuals, he stated that assisting the needy and senior citizens is a collective responsibility. He remarked that the efforts made by social organizations to help the needy strengthen the spirit of service and cooperation within society. Assistive devices were distributed to 81 needy elderly persons during the event.
