Moosewala is alleged to have played a role in the murder of Vicky Middhukheda, associated with rival gang Bambiha, her manager Shaganpreet. The police have also included Shaganpreet's name in the charge sheet, which is now absconding. After this incident, Moosewala, Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar came under target.

His car was stopped by two other vehicles and then six attackers opened fire. The post-mortem report found 24 bullet marks on Moosewala's body. During the police action in this case, two criminals have been killed in the encounter, while many have been arrested. The matter is still under consideration in the court.
