National News: A tragic event from Siwalkhas village in Meerut has left the community shocked and heartbroken. Three young children who went out to play on Sunday morning were found dead the next day in a water-filled pit located in an under-construction colony at the edge of the village.

Children Went Missing While Playing

On Sunday around 11 a.m., three children—Hrithik (8), Manvi (9), and Shivansh (8)—stepped out of their homes to play nearby. All three belonged to different families living in Ward No. 1 of the village. According to locals, at some point during the day, Shivansh's father saw the children and told them to return home. But after several hours passed and they didn’t come back, their families began to worry.

Relatives and neighbors searched the village thoroughly—in fields, streets, and every nearby area—but there was no trace of the children. Eventually, the police were informed.

Bodies Found in Water-Filled Pit

The search continued through the night. On Monday morning, around 6 a.m., a horrifying scene was discovered. A villager noticed what appeared to be part of a body sticking out of water in a deep pit dug for construction work. The pit was filled with about four feet of rainwater.

When police and villagers checked closely, they found all three children's bodies in the same pit. The shocking discovery devastated the families and the entire community.

Police Suspect Accidental Drowning but Not Ruling Out Foul Play

According to SP Rural Rakesh Mishra, the children's bodies showed no signs of injury or violence. Based on the scene and initial examination, police suspect that the children may have accidentally fallen into the pit while playing and drowned.

However, officers are keeping all possibilities open. They have not dismissed the chance that the children could have been murdered and thrown into the pit afterward. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem, and only after the medical report comes will the exact cause of death be known.

Families Suspect Dark Ritual Behind Deaths

The families of the deceased children believe this is not a simple accident. They allege that the children were murdered and deliberately dumped in the water. Some even fear that the incident may be linked to a tantric or black magic ritual, raising more suspicion.

Due to these serious claims, police are now also exploring the possibility of ritualistic or planned murder.

Village in Grief and Shock

The entire Siwalkhas village is now under a cloud of sorrow and fear. People are mourning the loss of the innocent children and demanding a thorough investigation. The villagers want answers and justice—and if someone is responsible for this tragedy, they expect strong action to be taken.
