New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday targeted those trying to spread panic over the cooking gas situation in India, saying they are not only exposing themselves to the public but also harming the country. He said that some people are trying to spread panic over LPG. They want to pursue their own agenda and are causing huge harm to the country. Addressing the NXT Summit, PM Modi also said that no country is untouched by the current crisis in West Asia and the government is making every possible effort to ensure India's energy security.

He also said that some people are trying to take advantage of the current situation and black market certain products and warned that action will be taken against such elements. Modi said, "Some people are trying to spread panic over LPG. Without making any political comment, I will simply say that they are not only exposing themselves to the people but also harming the country.

The Prime Minister also said that everyone has an important role to play in addressing the current crisis arising from the conflict in West Asia—be it political parties, the media, the youth, cities, and villages. PM Modi said that despite numerous global crises, world leaders and experts look to India with great hope, which increases India's responsibilities. He said, "Today the whole world knows that if you want to be a part of the future, you have to connect with India and live in India."

He said, "We have only one goal, one destination, and that is a developed India." India is not only progressing but is moving to the next level." The Prime Minister also said that the world is going through a difficult phase, but India is moving forward at a fast and steady pace. "Many global leaders are saying that India is becoming the centre of attraction for the entire world," Modi said.
