Ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has made a big statement. He stated that Tejashwi Yadav is the face of the Chief Minister and that a consensus on this has been reached within the INDIA alliance. He added, “Our government is going to be formed in Bihar. If we form the government, we will turn the state into Scotland. BJP leaders are all ‘Chintu’ (insignificant). These people talk about Namazwad and Maulana scripts. We will not allow caste or religion-based politics in Bihar.”

Tejashwi Yadav also said that Sudhanshu Trivedi did not become a leader on his own merit. Speaking about his brother Tej Pratap Yadav, he remarked, “I didn’t like what Tej Pratap did.” Before Tejashwi’s statement on being the CM face, Congress leader Kanhaiya Kumar had also made a similar remark.

If Majority Is Achieved, CM Will Be from RJD

On Friday, Kanhaiya Kumar had said, “If the Grand Alliance gets a majority in the Assembly elections, the Chief Minister will be from RJD. There is no confusion that Tejashwi Yadav will be the CM face. The party with the most MLAs will get the CM post. RJD is the largest party in the alliance and will have more MLAs, so the Chief Minister will be from their party.”

Grand Alliance Will Form the Govt in Bihar

The political temperature in Bihar is already rising ahead of the Assembly polls. A fierce battle is underway between the ruling party and the opposition over various issues. On Sunday, before declaring himself as the CM face, Tejashwi made a bold statement, saying, “NDA will be out of power in Bihar. The Grand Alliance will form the government. Once we form the government, the Waqf Act will be thrown into the dustbin.”

Lalu Prasad Yadav Has Made It Clear

Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly, said, “Our National President Lalu Prasad Yadav has made it clear that RJD will oppose this law. We have also approached the court against it. I want to remind my Muslim brothers in Bihar that the NDA government is on its way out. A new government will be formed in November, one that supports the poor and will throw the Waqf Act into the dustbin.”

No One Should Think the Country Is Their Father’s Property

Tejashwi Yadav said that the BJP, which is sharing power at the Centre and in the state, should remember that the country gained independence due to the sacrifices of Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, and Christians. “No one should think the country is their father’s property,” he said. He also criticized the BJP over the special intensive revision of the voter list. “We must not allow any conspiracy to deprive people of their right to vote to succeed,” he concluded.
