A bomb threat has been made against another school in Vadodara, Gujarat. This time, Cygnus School, located near the Airforce Station in the Harni area, has been targeted. On Friday, an unknown individual issued a bomb threat to the school, causing panic. Upon receiving the information, police immediately sprang into action, evacuated the students, and cleared the school premises.
According to reports, the unknown person sent the bomb threat via email. After receiving the alert, the bomb disposal squad, dog squad, and senior police officials rushed to the scene. A thorough inspection and search operation was launched within the school.
Following the threat, teachers, students, and their parents were gripped by fear. The students were safely sent home after informing the situation to their parents. So far, no suspicious object has been found after the bomb squad and dog squad searched the school. A detailed search was conducted not only in classrooms but throughout the school premises.
Over the past few weeks, bomb threats have been issued to schools in major Gujarat cities, especially Ahmedabad, Surat, and Vadodara. This is the third bomb threat in 15 days to a school in Vadodara, raising serious concerns about safety and security.
A bomb threat had previously been made against Vadodara's Navrachana School as well. That threat, too, was sent via email to the school administration. With a second consecutive day of such threatening emails, the school authorities and parents were left deeply concerned. In the latest case, an unknown person has again threatened to blow up this renowned school in Vadodara. The police are currently investigating the matter.
