Madhya Pradesh: Right near the Mahakal Temple of Ujjain, there is a hotel of the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Corporation—'Samrat Vikramaditya The Heritage Hotel.' This hotel has always been considered pure vegetarian. Devotees coming from all over the country stay here relying on this. But for the past few days, a CCTV video is spreading rapidly on social media in which it is being claimed that meat and fish are secretly cooked in the kitchen of this hotel. In the video, the employees are allegedly heard saying, "You have touched chicken and fish; wash your hands thoroughly." Along with this, there is also an allegation that while making non-veg, the direction of CCTV cameras was deliberately changed.
Hotel manager Satish Pathak termed all these allegations as completely false. He said that what is being described as 'non-veg' in the video is actually a famous veg dish of the hotel - 'Dahi Ke Sholay'. Cheese, vegetables and curd are used in it. The manager says that this dish was deliberately presented in such a way that people are misled.
He also said that this video has been made viral by those old employees who had left the hotel three-four months ago. Their aim is only to damage the reputation of the hotel.
Manager Satish Pathak has lodged an FIR in this matter at Mahakal police station. He says that such false publicity tarnishes the image of not only the hotel but the entire temple area. He has demanded strict action against the culprits.
There is a complete ban on non-veg around the Mahakal temple. In such a situation, this video shook the devotees to the core. People who come from far and wide to see Mahakal and stay in this hotel with the hope of getting pure food, both doubt and resentment arose in their minds.
Now only after police investigation will it be clear whether what was shown in the video was true or just an attempt to defame.
