National News: The horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir has shocked the country. After the death of 26 innocent tourists in the attack, Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said on Wednesday that an attempt is being made to spread terror and separatism in the valley again, but India will not allow any such conspiracy to succeed.

"Tourism will not let it suffer"

Shekhawat said that his ministry is making every effort to cause minimum damage to tourism in Jammu and Kashmir after this attack. He said that he is in constant touch with the Chief Secretary and Tourism Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir and is keeping a close watch on the central government situation.

Terror havoc in the valley: 26 killed

On Tuesday, terrorists ambushed in the Besaran Valley of Pahalgam, killing 26 people and many others were seriously injured. The dead include two foreign nationals - UAE and Nepal - and two locals. The attack was a planned and cross -ruled limit of ruthlessness.

'We are all sad, but not afraid'

One minute silence was kept before the Central Archaeological Advisory Board (CABA) meeting in Delhi, so that tributes could be paid to the people who were martyred in the Pahalgam terror attack. Shekhawat told the media, "The whole country is hurt by this attack. We are not going to bow down to this cowardly act. Some elements want to spread terror in the valley again, but India is no longer the same."

Modi government's strictness: zero tolerance on terror

Shekhawat appreciated the immediate action of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, saying that Modi ji left his foreign trip and reached Srinagar, which is clear that the government's stand on terrorism is very strict.
