Weather Report: Cold wave continues in Delhi, IMD declares Orange Alert

Weather Update: Several parts of Delhi experienced a cold wave on Sunday, with minimum temperatures dropping below 3.0 degrees Celsius in some areas. The minimum temperature recorded at Palam was 3 degrees Celsius, the lowest in the last 13 years. 

What did the IMD say?

The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Monday and Tuesday and a yellow alert for Wednesday. Further drop in temperature is expected over the next two days.

Regarding the weather on Monday and Tuesday, the Meteorological Department says that moderate to shallow fog is likely in the morning. Cold wave conditions are expected in many places during the day. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for both days.
