Coastal Andhra Pradesh may experience heavy rains along with strong winds on September 20 and 21. There is also a possibility of showers along with thunderstorms. People have been asked not to leave their homes unnecessarily.

When will the rains intensify in Odisha?

There may be rains with thunderstorms in Odisha on 20th and 21st September. After that, the rainy season will become more intense from September 22. IMD has warned of extremely heavy rain at some places on September 23 and 24. There may be very heavy rain in the state on September 25 and 26 also. Conditions may remain bad in some parts of Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Fishermen have been asked to stay away from marine activities for the next few days and pay attention to local warnings.
