National News: The conversion racket in Uttar Pradesh is now being linked to fugitive Islamic preacher Zakir Abdul Karim Naik. According to reports, several companies associated with Zakir Naik are allegedly sending money from abroad to support this conversion gang.

ED and Central Agencies May Launch Probe

Along with central intelligence agencies, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is also likely to start a formal investigation soon. According to sources, some members of the banned organizations—the Student Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) and the Popular Front of India (PFI)—have played a key role in helping the gang receive foreign funding.

Foreign Funds Found in Changur Gang Accounts

Jalaluddin, alias Changur, who was recently arrested for running a conversion network, is believed to be receiving funds from foreign organizations. The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has reportedly found strong evidence of this during their investigation.

In fact, after discovering over ₹100 crore in foreign funding in the bank accounts of members of the Changur gang, multiple agencies—including ATS, ED, and central intelligence—have quietly begun deeper investigations.

Funds Traced from Nepal Border and South Indian States

The Income Tax Department also carried out a separate investigation near the Nepal border. It revealed that several madrasas and religious institutions in the region were receiving funds from states in South India. A report on this has already been submitted to the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Zakir Naik, who is known for promoting religious conversions, is currently living in Malaysia to avoid legal action in India.

Brainwashing Through Online Videos

During the interrogation of arrested gang members, investigators found that the group was using videos to brainwash people online. These videos were designed to emotionally manipulate viewers and encourage religious conversion.

One such video reportedly included threatening language, warning Hindus that destruction was coming. "You foolish people, you worry about time. Trouble is about to come. Plans for your destruction are being made in the skies. If you do not understand, you will be wiped out. O people of Hindustan, even your story will not remain in stories.”

Target: Turning India into an Islamic Nation

The gang was allegedly trying to influence people to support the idea of turning India into an Islamic country. These videos also criticized idol worship, claiming it was being promoted in India and should be stopped.

Authorities believe that the gang was using both emotional and religious tactics to mislead people and carry out mass conversions. Investigations are still ongoing, and more shocking revelations are expected soon.
