India’s shooting trio, Divyansh Panwar, Rudrankksh Patil, and Aishwary Tomar bagged first gold in the Asian Games 2023 Hangzhou for India.
The trio clinched gold in the men’s 10 m air rifle team shooting event at the ongoing Asian Games in Hangzhou. The impressive score of 1893.7 by trio not only secured the top spot but also shattered China’s world record of 1893.3 points which was set in August 2023.
South Korea bagged the silver medal with a total of 1890.1 points. Whereas, China fell way behind to secure the bronze with 1888.2 points.

India so far has clinched seven medals, consisting of one gold, three silver, and three bronze at ongoing Asian Games 2023 at Hangzhou.
Before this, Indian shooter Ramita Jindal, captured two medals in the team’s and individual’s event in the 10 m air rifle competition at the ongoing Asian Games, said that she is happy to win two medals on the same day and looks forward to a gold medal in the mixed team event.
“I feel great and amazing. It was a good experience, and I am very happy to win two medals on the same day. I was planning to get a gold medal but I got to learn a lot here. I have mixed mixed-team event ahead, hoping to win a gold medal there,” said Ramita while speaking to ANI.
In addition to this, the Indian rowing team Ashish Kumar, Bheem Singh, Jaswinder Singh and Punit Kumar secured a bronze medal in the men’s four rowing final at the Asian Games on Monday.
