Sports News: In its very first match of Asia Cup 2025, Team India destroyed UAE's batting on the basis of excellent bowling. UAE had no answer to the Indian bowling attack including Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav and Shivam Dubey. But during this time something happened which shocked everyone and became a topic of discussion. All this happened due to a run out, the decision of which went in India's favor but Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav himself refused to accept this decision.

UAE batsman got run out

The Indian team played its first match of the Asia Cup on 10 September at the Dubai International Stadium. The Indian team was bowling first in this match and it did not take much time to send the UAE batsmen to the pavilion. The Indian team lost the eighth wicket of UAE on the first ball of the 13th over, when Shivam Dubey dismissed Dhruv Parashar LBW. Then something happened on the third ball of the same over, due to which this run out drama was seen.

Actually Shivam Dubey bowled a bouncer against Parashar, on which Parashar tried to play a pull shot but he missed. The ball went to wicketkeeper Sanju Samson, who smartly aimed the ball directly at the stumps. He did this because Parashar was out of the crease. The Indian team appealed for a run out and the on-field umpire sent this decision to the third umpire. The third umpire watched the replay several times and then gave his decision that Parashar was run out.

Surya therefore withdrew the appeal

But even after this decision, the UAE batsman did not leave the crease and this happened because Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav withdrew his appeal after discussing with the umpire. Actually the reason for this was bowler Shivam Dubey. What happened was that when Dubey was running to bowl, the handkerchief stuck in his trousers fell down. In such a situation, as soon as Parashar missed the shot, he started complaining about this directly to the umpire and in this process he forgot to return to the crease.

Usually, whenever this happens, the batsman's attention gets distracted and he sometimes moves away from the crease. Or in such a situation, the umpire also calls it a 'dead ball'. But in this situation, neither the batsman moved nor the umpire called it a 'dead ball'. In such a situation, Indian captain Surya, considering Parashar's complaint justified, himself withdrew the appeal and Parashar was saved.

UAE collapsed for just 57

However, Surya's generosity did not yield any results and within the next 2 balls, Parashar was out in the same over. Parashar was not the only batsman who got out early. In fact, the entire batting line-up of UAE collapsed badly and India bowled out UAE for a paltry 57 runs in just 13.1 overs.
